Hvem skal forsvare Danmark til VM i Lydighed?

Lydighedsudvalget har netop udtaget de deltagere, der skal udgøre det danske landshold ved VM i LP i juni i Holland, men der er noget galt….

Først tillykke til de fem kompetente og dygtige deltagere, der er udtaget med deres hunde. Vi hepper på jer, når I skal repræsentere Danmark i Holland.
Problemet er, at der er to pladser ledige på landsholdet, der har plads til seks deltagere + en reserve og deres hunde. Der er ekvipager, der er kvalificerede til at udfylde de to tomme pladser, men de er ikke udtaget, og det er vi en gruppe hundesportsfolk, der undrer os over.
Med dette opslag, som også sendes til DKK’s hovedbestyrelse og LP-udtagelsesudvalget under DKK.

Vi forstår ikke, hvorfor man fra DKK’s side ikke fylder holdet helt op i år, og vi forstår ikke begrundelsen for, at to dygtige lydighedsfolk som Miriam Søndergaard og Christina Huebert er valgt fra? Både Miriam og Christina har leveret stabile og overbevisende resultater hele året, og burde derfor helt naturligt være udtaget til at repræsentere det bedste fra Danmark.

Vi ønsker, at det stærkeste hold – fuldt besat med syv deltagere – skal forsvare Danmark til VM i juni. Vi vil have de bedste i landet med, og vi vil have svar fra vores hovedklub og lydighedsudvalg om, hvorfor point og resultater ikke afgør om, hvem der udtages, og i givet fald hvilke regler man så udtager efter.

Who will be representing Denmark at the World Championship in obedience this year?

The obedience committee has just eviscerated the participants to represent Denmark at this year’s World Championship in obedience witch will take place in Holland this June, but something is wrong…..

At first, we will start off by congratulating the five competent and very skilled participants who is eviscerated together with their dogs. We cheer for you when you will represent Denmark I Holland.

We feel taken by surprise though. Our wonder and surprise lies within the fact that there are two more spots on the team and they are not filled. The Danish team can hold up to six participants + one backlog.

We believe that there are Danish teams out there who is more than qualified for fill out the empty spots on the team, but they are not eviscerated. We feel deeply frustrated about this choice of actions and that is why we write this posting. We represent a group of obedience sportsmen and we are sending this posting to both the central committee and the obedience committee of DKK.

We do not understand the decision of not filling up the team this year. And we do not understand the reason why the two very skilled obedience handlers like Miriam Søndergaard and Christina Huebert is not on the team. They have shown both steady and convincing results all year and we believe that they are natural candidates to be representing the very best that Denmark has to offer.

We wish for Denmark to be able to set the strongest team – a full team with seven participants – to represent Denmark in the World Championship in obedience 2018. We want answers from the central committee and from the obedience committee on why points and results does not matter in this evisceration. And if they actually do not matter, then we want answers on what does. What rules are then in use?
