The site of Statens Værksteder for Kunst, being in the center Copenhagen, is vital for international artists working there. The museums, archives, galleries and the artist community of center Copenhagen are an important factor to artists coming from abroad. Moving the state workshops out of center Copenhagen would greatly devalue the SVK.
