The Esbjerg Ensemble is a leading light in European Chamber Music. It should be supported and nurtured by the community to which it has made an invaluable contribution for years. Cutting funding makes no economic sense and would destroy a vital cultural and social resource probably forever. It would be a loss that would affect not just the people of Southern Denmark but also the many people around the world whose lives have been touched by this wonderful group of musicians.
