Frifind Lars Bo Lomholt!

Often small dogs are out of control. Just yesterday my PITBULL was attacked repeatedly by a small dog whose caretaker dropped the leash.Shame on the authorities!!!!

Lars is a hero and the people of Denmark should be proud of him.

Dogs will always be dogs. They bite and this is their natural behavior. Putting down a dog for biting is such a stupid law. Do they expect that other dogs and that Sheppard will also understand how unnatural it is to bite and be put to death so other dogs will eventually realize how grievous the offense is? Are they really thinking? Was it the best way to prevent and stop animal crime? Are the dogs even aware that it was a crime to bite other dogs? Have they been told that they could be sentenced to death? What?!!!

Lars Bo Lomholt is a very unique and compassionate man. There should be more men like him in the world and it would be a far better world to endure for all! I wish he lived here in the states and I would kiss him! Sweden, please DO NOT PUNISH LARS FOR DOING WHAT SO FEW HAVE A HEART TO DO! Reward Lars!!!

Thor is just being a dog. He got scared and reacted like a typical dog, I would do what Lars did. He should not be prosecuted. People who want to prosecute him are ignorant of how dogs react.

It was by accident the dog bit. It was protecting it's owner. The policeman should not be punished for saving the dog's life.

What is wrong with you people if the owner of the other dog agreed it was without malice that the german shepard bit the other dog you have no right to put down the dog. The dog deserves to live & you need to find real crimes the real criminals have committed & put them down perhaps.

often times people underestimate the lives of animals, especially those who have served humans every day, Thor is the epitome of this. Lars saved a life and if that's a crime then perhaps you need to seriously reevaluate the laws in your country.

so much respect for this man, to put his career at risk for a dog, amazing, I hope someone sees the wonderful attributes this man has and gives him the fantastic job he deserves. I hope this case highlights the wrongs in Danish laws regarding euthanising dogs.

this should never of happened the german shepherd was defending himself for one thing a dog on a leash always feels threatened and the little dog came into his space this man should not loose his job over this the country needs to start changing some of there rules

This is totally ridiculous. How on earth can the officer be charged for this crime. Surely the Police Force have more serious things to investigate. In my opinion, he was only acting in a humane manner. Setting a good example and I applaud him for his courageous behaviour.

To make a triple travesty of this matter is unconscionable. The officer DID the correct thing by ALL concerned.
