There is nothing unnatural about a dog that bites when startled. If Thor were truly vicious, the little dog would be dead. Thor's savior restored justice to the situation. That is his job as a police officer !

Free Thor and Lars!
I have no words to describe the ignorance of whoever decided Thor's behaviour was 'unnatural'. As a canine behaviourist in the making I can tell you that it is indeed EXTREMELY NATURAL for a leashed dog to bite a loose dog that jumps all over it. Size doesn't matter here because size should not be an excuse. The world is full of badly behaved small dogs that grab people by their ankles and bite and jump on other dogs. Not respecting another dog's space is not deemed normal or natural in the dog world so maybe think twice which dog behaved unnaturally.... Denmark is a nice country but quite obviously you need to change your 'experts' in this case and reevaluate facts from the beginning.

Have a heart save the dog.
Gæst#410 Feb 04, 2013, 15:08
Make it fair! Make it just! Recognize a hero, change the criminal law!:)
Gæst#411 Feb 04, 2013, 15:27
I truly hope that Lars will be free of the charges made against him. And Thor also be free to go home to his owner. Denmark should review their laws regarding dogs.

Lars is a great man for rescuing his dog, not a criminal.
Gæst#414 Feb 04, 2013, 17:19
Du gjorde det eneste rette, Lars! All ære til deg for at du er tro mot det du står for. Hadde bare flere vært som deg!
Gæst#415 Feb 04, 2013, 17:24
A hero must not be punished.

Gæst#420 Feb 04, 2013, 18:56
A dog biting another dog is "unnatural?" I think people who clearly know nothing about animal behavior shouldn't be in charge of putting animals to death based on natural vs. unnatural behavior.
Gæst#421 Feb 04, 2013, 19:17
Dieser Mann hat Herz.
Gæst#422 Feb 04, 2013, 20:08
He did not abuse his duties for nefarious purposes; he saved a dog from death. Please pardon Lars Bo Lomholt!
Gæst#423 Feb 04, 2013, 20:17
Police has no right to decide who dies and who lives. Im glad there is people like Lars who, inspite the chance of loosing his job dare to do what he did to save his life... thank u officer Lars!!!! .... from Mexico
Gæst#424 Feb 04, 2013, 20:25
